This is crucial for the tool's lifespan! Follow these steps after each use:

1. Pour out the remaining chemicals from the tank.
2. Pour in clean water and "shoot" it (submerging the nozzle in a bucket of water or into the air) to thoroughly rinse the internal tube and mechanism.
3. Blow out the gun "dry" with air only for about 10 seconds to dry the bearing.

We also recommend periodically oiling the air connector (1-2 drops of pneumatic tool oil).

BENBOW guns (e.g., Black Storm) require a constant working pressure of approx. 6 - 6.2 bar (approx. 90 PSI).

• Minimum requirements: 50-liter tank, blow-out capacity approx. 200-250 l/min.
• Recommendation for PRO: Compressor with a 100L tank to ensure a smooth workflow without breaks for air "recharging".

The inner diameter of the air hose is important for BENBOW guns. A hose that is too narrow can restrict airflow, so the gun may start but will not work at full power.

• BENBOW Blow and cleaning guns with a tank: recommended inner hose diameter 8-9 mm.
• BENBOW Vacuum: recommended inner hose diameter 5-8 mm.

Use a smooth, straight air hose that is as short as practical. Thin hoses and spiral hoses are not recommended because they can reduce airflow and noticeably limit the performance of the gun.

If a BENBOW gun starts but only blows weakly, rotates poorly or does not vacuum properly, the cause is usually not the gun itself but insufficient air supply.

First check the inner diameter and length of the hose, the hose type, quick couplings, reducers and the actual air delivery of the compressor. Insufficient airflow can make the tool start, but prevent it from reaching full performance.

Important: A BENBOW gun needs not only the correct pressure, but also enough air volume. Performance is very often limited by hoses that are too narrow, spiral hoses or low-flow couplings.

This increases the volume of blown air by up to 100% without significantly loading the compressor. The separator (placed at the bottom of the BENBOW bucket) physically separates clean water from dirt. Sand and debris sink to the bottom and are blocked by the separator grid, preventing them from rising back up in the water. Thanks to this, when rinsing the mitt, you don't pick up dirt again, which prevents scratches (so-called swirls) on the paintwork during washing.
